I have a fiberglass in ground Jacuzzi I want to empty it. I want to also eventually clean it.?

I was told not to empty it because it would loose the vaccuum. I would like to empty it because of my two kids, but work on cleaning it over the summer 6 months from now. What would be the risk. It has not been used for 4 years, and just scary water under the cover is in it now.

I used a Little Giant pump for my pool. It had the suction from the bottom so it got almost all the water out. You will need to reprime the pump when you use the Jacuzzi again.
