I plan to legally change my first name to Scordon (its a name of a warrior king) How does it sound? What would be your first impression to this name?
Btw, my last name is George. So my full name will be Scordon George.

I have legally changed my name once.
Make sure you want to! BTW if you don't have your birthcertificate and social security card changed over, you can change your name back for just $25. This is what I did after a year with my new name.
I want to change my name again to a simple name. "Smith" would be my last name.

is it the name of a real warrior king? 'cuz it sounds like something out of a fantasy novel... which is how it will sound if it's your name.
suggestion: if you hate your real name that much, go by your middle name, your initials, or a catchy nickname instead.
