I think it's ridiculous to have an age limit on treat-or-treating. It's so much fun! In the neighborhood I grew up in, the younger kids would always go out at like 5-530, and the older kids would always go later like at 6-630, so there was never any problems about older kids "bullying" younger ones. I'm 23, and very much wish I could still go. Not just because of the candy, but because it's a great time!

includes coming back from the dead, never

If you mean for the age specified kids? Once you get tired of supervising them or they disagree. Teenagers have a penchant towards mischief you are liable for, morally & legally.
b-tweens worse YOU have to go out also! Try having a party at your house where you can have fun for kids & still keep an eye on them. It's the kool Mom thing to do. Invitations, contact parents the whole 9 yards. Do a whole project involving your kids to decorate and send emails & evites! Pick a theme or go ala carte. Tons of food and soda's games and let your kids pick.
Little ones never stay little. Enjoy that part while you can. Don't forget your trick or treaters. In Hawaii adults made a nite of it sitting outside with goodies as they partied. Just stay responsible!
MSLO.com Martha Stewart has a ton of great stuff online. Good Housekeeping also. May the good spirits be wih you.

I would think that after age 12, a person might feel too mature to 'trick or treat'. "Cut Off Age"? there is none..... not really. I've seen older teens in constume "begging" for candy ~ it's all in good fun and no big deal if one is 3 years old or 30!

The cutoff age for Trick-or-treating is whenever you feel like quitting. Some people are 15 and still go out, some quit at the age of 12. It all depends on what your idea of 'fun' is.

I do not believe in a cut-off age for trick or treat. Come on over - we give out lots of great chocolate!
As long as you are comfortable in dressing up and going out, more power to you!!!

The cut-off age is when ever you don't feel comfortable enough to go trick-or-treating. As long as you feel intrest in going, you should! Besides, you can be anyone or anything on that day.. Why wouldn't you want to go?!

If you're older than the person who's giving out the candy thats probably a sign. Then again, who said there was an age limit? Everybody should be able to have fun, no matter what age. Hi Rhymes with snitch!

I think 11 or 12. I think its pathetic when a teenager goes trick or treating. They just want free candy and they are too old. The worst part of it is that the majority of them don't even dress up.

I love halloweeen! I'll give candy to anyone who comes to my door in a costume and with a bag! Any age. Why not? It's only a piece of candy. ( I get irritated with people who complain about teenagers coming to the door).
