No, because the asker doesn't usually know the correct answer anyway. They will pick an answer that is completely wrong. Other times they choose an answer that is only partially correct.

Sometimes, but then I realize that, I've probably chosen a best answer just as someone else was trying to give me one.
And, I bet this happens a fair amount of the time.
Very seldom do I wait the whole 3 to 6 days for the Best Answer.
If I'm out of votes & out of answers and all I need is 3 more points to take me over to the next hundred; I'm looking for a BEST ANSWER to some of my strange questions.
And everyone is always so creative when it comes to answering my questions.

hel ya especially when i submit it n it says the best answer has just beeb decided or when i vote n see all those crappy n unefficient answers but anyway there r unending Q so u can always make up

Yes at times it does. Not really driving me crazy(already there..hee, haa) but just thinking, "wish I had seen that question to answer it". ah but there are plenty more to answer!
