I hate to disagree with Colinc but in this case he is in error.
Linksys, Dlink, and MOST of the major manufacturers only produce around 60-65 mw (milliwatts) of power on the transmitters.

And many others for sources. You can tell because they DO NOT state what power they produce at all in the spec sheets.
So they are not the most powerfull units at all! (Thats why they also sell amplifier units or "signal boosters).

If you want a good solid high power AP try one from ENGENIUS or SENAO (I don't know about the one you mentioned but certainly it has high output spec, just not sure what part is radio and what part is antenna?) These are 200mw units (four times the output of the normal AP/Router)

Or if you want a HIGH power router shop some of the WISP suppliers that have HIGH power routers up to 400mw

is a nice unit if you want to "share" because all the wireless clients can be isolated from all the others meaning no direct network connection between machines!

I wish I knew more about the one you mention but I don't. I will tell you that 30db is ONE full watt of output or 1000mw. I wouldn't want it close to me when in use (these are Microwave oven frequencies so don't put it on your desktop next to you. Long periods of exposure can do damage to eyes, etc.)
I do see they also have a 9db outdoor antenna for this unit. If you use that it will be illegal as 36db is the MAX allowed radiated signal (if you are in the US).
In looking at the products I would look at the
Bountiful WiFi BWRG500 Wireless-b/g long range Router
That one is 500mw (more than enough power for a couple of houses). The router just needs to be located so that the antennas are "not sheilded" by brick walls etc.

(PS, you may need to check with your broadband supplier - some/many of them do not allow what you are proposing under their terms of service!)

This is a totally unknown make. Be careful, most routers now are as powerful as allowed. If any parts of both houses face each other without any obstructions, you may get up to 1 KM or so if you use to wireless access points in bridge mode, at the walls facing each other, and preferably in a window. Other wise you will be lucky to get 150 Ft.
