The USA used to be but not anymore for obvious reasons! No jobs! We have become a major exporter to a major importer. Even when it comes to intellectuals. You see more and more foreign Doctors now day's.Our government gave all the corporations tax breaks to outsource jobs, to help the world economy at the risk of destroying our own. Don't get me wrong I am proud to be a American. Is it the United States responsibility to help other countries? Just look at GM. They used to be the worlds biggest employer and made more products! Now it is basically service jobs and Health Care. I know that their has to be a solution just short of isolationism. Remember what President Kennedy said? Don't ask what your country can do for you, what you can do for your country. We need to bring manufacturing back home. Their should be a point where we can do for our country!
