I was the 3rd daughter then my brother was born so 3rd out of 4

I'm the youngest of 13 and there are only 2 of us left. There was a big difference in age between me and the next older sister-12 years. Then it went up-14-18-20 etc. My one remaining sister is 84. She has alzheimers,but thank goodness she still remembers me. I only had one brother. He died when he was 42. It was always sort of lonely,but I sure had lots of love.

I was number 1 out of 8. Two died (boys)...one in a miscarriage, one at birth. There were 2 others by my biological father and 3 by my step dad. I have 2 brothers, 3 sisters.

I was the unnecessary "bonus" baby. My mother wanted a daughter, her first born, my sister, then she wanted a son to complete the package - my brother. BUT she got twins on the second try, so I was considered superfluous. She didnt want two daughters.
