Other than if you are already taking the pill, the only other way is with a medication called norithisterone, but this needs to be started at least four days before your period is due. In this case you would need to see your doctor to get a script. If this isn't soon enough, the only other option is to go to your drug store and pick up some Insteads. Insteads are a menstrual cup that can safely be left in place for up to 12 hours. You can read more about them here

Women have been going on vacations with their periods for years now, and they survived. :) There is really nothing you can do, unless you go on the pill, but even then, you aren't guaranteed that you'll miss your period after the first cycle of pills.

Be prepared with tampons if you want to go swimming, and enjoy the trip!

When is the vacation?

Nothing you can do.

Talk to your doctor.

Don't let your period run your life, take tampons and have a great vacation!

There is no way to delay having a period. Best things to take your tampons and pads with you. You can't expect when your period will come. All depend on your cycle goes.
