After all the stress (personal humiliation, embarrassment, failures and mistakes, unwise decisions, etc.) of growing and maturing, and experiencing the things that we did, I think we did okay. Do you agree? Why or why not?

Well I know that I am well adjusted...but then I have always been well grounded.

But I know a lot of boomers that are neurotic and half crazed because they just can't let the past go. Once the past is past it should be remembered as an experience best not repeated, but you should never let whatever happened ruin your whole life.

Speak for yourself. I could do with a bit of adjustment. Getting serious for just a mo, I think I had such a protected childhood that I was completely unprepared for adult life. I'm still trying to adjust. LOL

I think I have adjusted very well considering the last 2 years of death and divorce. We just have to learn to get back on that horse and ride again.

I think most did ok, but there are the drugies, and the alcies that never adjusted or grew up.

(I'm older than a boomer but...) We sure did, look at the
world today that we had a large hand in creating -- Social
and moral values, National financial status, Patriotism,
I could go on.............Yep, we done good.

when you clowns reached voting age you couldn't wait to tick the box for richard nixon.

even with that behind you you still went on to choose ronald reagan and a double helping of bush.

your parents liberated the world from fascist dictatorships, just so you could spend most of your lives trying to put them right back in power.
