You know, there are all kinds of deep red velvety flowers. A little more information would mean a world of difference when it comes to answering a "what do you call....?" question or a "Can you find...?" question. .

One of the prettiest velvet looking flower I know is the hoya carnosa. It also has a plastic looking center star with a single drop of crystal clear nectar. Do a web search and see for yourself.
