hmm pretty easy .

1 mole of FeO gives 1 mole of Fe metal

find the mr of FeO and Fe

Mr of FeO = 56+ 16 = 72g
Mr of Fe = 56 g

SO>>> 72g of FeO produces 56g of Fe
1000000g of FeO would produce xg of Fe

72 ---> 56
1000000----> x

cross multiply 72 * x = 56* 1000000
72x = 56000000
777777.7g
now apply this formula to get no of moles required
no of moles = mass in g / mr
moles = 777777.7 / 56 = 13888.8moles = 13.8kmoles

1000 kg of Fe is equal to 10^6/56 mol

Thus Moles of FeO = 10^6/56 mol

= 17 857.1429 = 17.86 kmol
