for a girl:
Giovanni - just doesn't work for me unless you are Italian. Use the english version of Georgia.
Cabana/Gabana - don't like it.
Emmra-rose - Emma Rose is fine.
Valerie - I like this name.
Audrei - Please no weird spellings. Audrey is a fine name.
Evelyn - Good name, just not my style.

for a boy:
Parez - don't care for it.
Gabriel - I think it's fine, but be prepared. The most common nickname is Gabe (which I don't like).
Micah - This is being increasingly feminized even though it's just a foreign version of Michael.
Aundrae - Andre is easily understood. Not the weird spelling please! Not my style of name either
Omari - Just ok.

for a girl:
Giovanni - this is the male form. Basically the same as naming her "John." Giovanna is the feminine, and assuming you're Italian, a lovely choice. ;)

Cabana/Gabana - a cabana is literally "a shelter resembling a cabin usually with an open side facing a beach or swimming pool" or "a lightweight structure with living facilities," and Gabana is a misspelled brand name (Dolce & Gabbana). http://mw1.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cabana Can't say I like either of those! :(

Emmra-rose - Looks like a typo of Emma Rose. Even if it is, the unnattractive mid-name hyphen really isn't necessary. A pretty, but common, choice, all in all.

Valerie - too dated for my taste.

Audrei - Audrey is a lovely classic! This misspelling just looks like a typo of Andrei (a form of the MALE name Andrew LOL).

Evelyn - absolutely love it! ;) Classic, beatiful AND properly-spelled, not to mention plenty of nickname options. She might also like Eveline or Evelina (like Evelyn, but the endings are said -LEEN and -LEENA) or even Evangeline.

for a boy:
Parez - I'm not even sure what to make of this. Is it Paris? Perez? Piaras/Piers? Or just the word "pairs?" LOL Not into it.

Gabriel - love it. Nickname Gabe is a cool option.

Micah - like this.

Aundrae - Andre? Or maybe Andrei would appeal, obviously. LOL "Aundrae," however, just looks like someone couldn't spell. It also makes the name sound really odd, because anyone trying to figure it out for the first time will likely do it sloooooowly, so it sounds like Aaawn-dr-aaaay (or Andre in slow motion ROFL). Not a great idea.

Omari - I'm familiar with both Omar and Omri, but not Omari. If this is an Arabic variation I simply haven't heard of, however, and you ARE Arabic, well then it's fine. If it's just some made-up jumble of sounds eerily similar to already-exsisting names ... I can't say I care for it.

Hope that helps!

for a girl:
Elizabeth Nicole
Skye Dylan
Natalie Anne
Samantha Jane
Kassyrine
Mary Joy

for boys:
Marc Christian
Thomas Cyr
George Anthony
Dustin Jake

All of these names are traditional yet modern sounding. Plus think of all the cool nicknames. If you're mom says it like it sounds embarrassing, you just have to be creative and create a nickname, take the name Irish Li for example you could say Rish or Shirl, that way it sounds cool and okay for a traditional person. But if you really can't make a nickname, just call the baby by one of her/his characteristics like ace or lucky or sweet.

I love the name Valerie Rose, or Valerie Grace for a girl.
for a boy Gabriel Parez
Good luck, it's nice that you want to help your mom name your baby brother or sister. I think it should be a family decision...

Evelyn, Valerie and Gabriel are great names, but the rest are just awful. Giovanni is a boys' name, and the rest... aren't names.

Quite a few of them look pretty "modern" to me.

Giovanni - perfectly fine name, but I don't like it much.
Cabana / Gabana - horrid
Emmra-Rose - horrid
Valerie - perfectly fine name, but I don't like it much.
Audrei - horrid spelling of a decent name
Evelyn - Nice.

Parez - horrid
Gabriel - great name!
Micah - another great name!
Aundrae - horrid spelling of an ok name.
Omari - I don't like it, but it's not as bad as Aundrae.
