Chuck Hagel recently announced he was refusing to run for President, otherwise he has some excellent qualifications. its very curious why none of the candidates (that truly represent the will of the people) can get support to run from the big corporate types. The candidates in favor of outsourcing, illegal immigration, CEO domination, and the wars for oil seem to get all the big money support.

Hagel has been eloquent in his anti-Iraq War stance, and has gotten a lot of support for it. This is why he is being considered. At some point, the immigration thing would come out, and that would hurt his chances, so it would be a short-lived candidacy. But basically, people see Ron Paul getting support for his anti-War stance, and figure anybody can do it. No doubt, Hagel is more eloquent than Paul, but Paul's positions on other issues, such as immigration, and the economy are more in tune with the American people.

The good old boy network that runs things from both parties are putting their bets on many horses in the field so people do not look close enough to see the faults of the few that will lead the pack.
They think we are stupid just like the leadership of the left thinks their base is stupid which they are.

Hagel is a media hound and has as much of a chance of the Republican nomination as Ross Perot and we have not heard from him in 12 years.

Chuck Hagel has lost all his political clout here in Nebraska.
I don't believe he will run for anything again.

Lets not forget that it was Chucks company ES&S that sold the machines that count our votes with out a paper trail , so given that he could win , in the words of Joe Stalin , it doesn't matter that we have the right to vote , what matters is who counts the votes ,
