I like to watch "What Not to Wear", and their always showing people clothes that are colors other than black for interviewing.

No, it's just that you have to dress as a professional. so dark colors are the best for that, it looks so more better.

It depends on the job your interviewing for. You can be dressy or dress casual. I always choose colors like blue, black, khaki, white, grey or brown in clothing i wear to an interview. However, you can throw in some color, like in a blouse under a suit or something. There are suits that can be worn to an interview that have colors like red, violet, and so on......but again, it would depend on the job your interviewing for.

Supposedly dark blues and blacks promote "authority" in the person who wears them. If you want to give the first impression that you can take charge, then wear dark colors.

I wouldn't go with anything too bright, it might be distracting.
At my high school we had a guest speaker who talked with us about what to wear, and what not to wear at an interview.

I would go with a blue, nothing to bright, though.

YES! You def. shouldn't do like....a pink suit, don't go crazy! You want something suttle, but with a pop of color like on the shirt or the whole shirt. don't eve go crazy u'll make a bad impression..........

You don't want to wear anything that's too bright . I would stick with gray, beiges, light blue or earthy tones.

Well I don't think that you should wear this BRIGHT lime green outfit, or any thing to bright. If I were you, I would just stick to dark purple, grey, or black
