OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMS NEED TO GET BACK TO THE THREE IMPORTANT BASIC FOUNDATIONS FOR THE KIDS. READING, WRITING, AND ARITHMETIC.

READING INSTEAD OF GETTING ON A COMPUTER ALL THE TIME.
DO NOT PASS THE KIDS IN CLASS UNTIL THEY HAVE LEARNED AT THEIR GRADE LEVEL.

TEACHERS SHOULD BE TESTED FOR ACADEMIC SKILLS AND IF THEY TEACH THEIR CLASS AT THE LEVEL THAT THE STUDENT IS EXPECTED TO LEARN.
IF THEY HAVE NOT LEARNED THEN HOLD THEM BACK UNTIL THEY DO.

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR THEM TO HAVE A GOOD EDUCATION NOW BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS SO
COMPETITIVE.

There are multiple reasons for this. Take your pick.

Yahoo has a system of categories. The intent is for people knowlegeable in various areas to "hang out" in those areas. A lot of people, asking questions, have not yet learned how to post into most appropriate categories, so this guarantees an auditence that probably won't give many good answers.

The spell check here is not that great. It also needs a grammar check to catch poorly phrased questions. In the rest of the Internet world we have become overly dependent on "el typo filters" to catch our typing errors & help us get them fixed, so their absense here makes for poorer quality communications.

The way Yahoo scoring works, it encourages a high level of pranksterism.

We live in a world where everyone is an expert, or so each peron believes that THEY are an expert, and everyone else is an idiot. It is not cool to admit you do not know much about something.

Here's a murphysim

Bluster is inversely proportional to wisdom.

in other words, a person who has a good understanding of a subject, they can struggle to give a calm deliberate fair answer, while someone who knows nothing about a subject, can be quite vocal with their opinions.

I don't think too many people ARE answering questions. I mean.. 90%... that's pretty good. I think the affliction of internet use is higher in americans. No.. there are not too many teenagers in America.. lol.

Sometimes the answerer's just want to air their own thoughts about things that have nothing to do with the questions. I have had some people give the strangest, totally unrelated answers to questions I have asked and never received the answers I was looking for. I know what you are asking. Why don't they give the correct answers to the questions. Heck, if I know.

Many questions are not clearly stated.
Often the questioner is trying to give the answer.
For example your question.
A poorly phrased question can come from anybody regardless of age or they are on the internet or not. You just have to be careless and not think through before asking

I think there may be multiple reasons for this. Yeah, there ARE alot of teens horsing around on here (as well as those who don't have much in the way of brains or Sense- to begin with). But I think a lot of people use this Site as a "Soapbox" to say what they WANT TO -in response to Questions they really DON'T have any Answers for. Let's face it, many of us have "agendas"- and listening to Others or helping them with their problems- aren't on them. :(

So, I don't understand your question.
Am I afflicted?

In my personal opinion its because many Americans don't have maps at home so we need to improve the education in Iraq, Afghanistan and South Africa.

that depends on if question is correct written. plus grammar errors, because those who ask can be 12-13 years old kids.
