Catholic Girl Names

Michaela can be/is a Catholic name, but it doesn't strike me as "only Catholic". Any name can be Catholic as long as it's a Saint's name, or a version of the Saint's name (Michaela for St. Michael). If your looking for ideas, I suggest looking at a book of Saints or going through a Saints calendar (that's where I found my son's name). Some particularly Catholic sounding names:
Philomena
Any form of Mary, Catherine or Theresa
Agatha
Agnes
Lucy
Anne
Cecelia
Elizabeth
Regina
Veronica
i.e., the most popular female Saints

Michaela could be anything...including Catholic.
Mary, Theresa, Catherine, Ann/e, Christine, Colleen, Patricia, Kathleen, Angela, Francesca, Maria, etc. all sound Catholic. Good Luck!

I am not Catholic, but my grandmother is. I do not really know what makes a name Catholic, but her name is Kathleen (call her Kay) and my aunt's name was Linda Marie. I do not know if that helped at all, but good luck. Actually, all of her kids had "normal" names. My dad is Steven (Steve) and my uncles are Jeff and Scott.
By the way, I LOVE the name Michaela and Theresa (actually Teresa) is my mother-in-laws name.
