I'm asuming that you dont mean cooking since you are not in the food and drink section.
Therefore if i was you i'd take the duck to the local park and let it go, maybe feed it some small fish or something, before your wife gets home and wants you to cook it in orange sauce.

Errrrrrr I NO cook it THEN EAT IT, but it has to be dead first before you can cook it........poor Duck! or you could go for a paddle with it in your nearest pond.!!!!

when i was young I was on a double decker bus with my evil grandmother. we were heading towards a bridge, she convinced the whole bus to duck cos she thought the top of the bus was gonna smash into the bridge. lol
