Try starting at a two year school and talk to instructors about different carreers. Take a variety of classes and see what interests you. Not many people know what they're going to do at 18. Go to college and watch how many students change majors multiple times. I went to two years of college and decided I wanted to shoot guns, crawl through the mud and meet many different people so I joined the army. I went to college and got paid for it. To this day I am still a Respiratory Therapist on the civilian side. I had none of that planned!!!

I have a friend who didn't know what to do with his life until he was 35. Finally inspiration struck and he came up with an idea that would make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. He told his best friend and he also agreed that this idea couldn't miss. So just before my friends 36th birthday his friend cut the brake lines on his car and he slammed into a tree. He died with a great idea in his mind and a steering wheel impaling his abdomen. His friend went on to use his great idea and is now very well off. Also, a national free healthcare system is probably not a great idea.

Well you could use your languiages in the travel industry or in teaching or in training others to do jobs. But first you need to gain experience in different jobs and visit different places.
Take any job that is able to keep you happy for now, and then later you can move around and start shouting about what you really want.
When you are sure of your destiny, put a CV up on monster.com and wait for the right job offers.

Well remember that you are young enough to try a few different things until you find what you enjoy. maybe start off with being a translator or something that you can put your language expertise to good use. Think about what hobbies you like to do and what are your strengths and weaknesses and then think of the types of jobs in which you can apply them to.

this world stop being kind to it's young a long time ago... It's like it robs us of our dreams before we are 20 and pressure us to fill one of their own dreams, the ones they failed miserably at getting done.... 18 is young.. your 20's is now where we have to begin self discovery. work where you can get money to live and start choosing from there.... it's life experience that helps you grow up school seems to stunt that experience.
Just start living life for yourself... that's where we all have to begin...

Ask not what we can do for you, but what you could do for us (that we might be willing to pay for). Seeing a need and meeting it is how people get jobs. Be marketable. Learn how to write a good resume and what you should do at an interview.
Take an interest test, find out what jobs are in areas you are interested in.
Good luck.

I'm 26 and I told know what I want to do with my life. I worked for about 6 years then decided to study graphic design at uni. Even now I am still not sure what I fully want to do. One thing I do know is that I am the only one that can make that decision. Do something you have an interest in. Only then will you enjoy it.

The army could be an option. You maybe just need some place like that that can act as a haven while you discover yourself.
