Because it's not about Patreus or the military but about scoring cheap political points.Basically Move on got swiftboated by the GOP.
Any Democrat who supported this move should be thrown out of the party. If they want to dance to the tune of the regressive right, let them become Republicans.

That's because Moveon.org is evil and needs to be condemned. They are political hacks controlled by Soros. Soros controls the Dems like hand puppets. He throws the money around and they fetch for him. Attack Petreaus, yes Boss man.

Its all about the panic and desperation the GOP is in right now.

MoveOn is not "related" to the Democratic Party in any way. Its just a web site that says some pretty awful things about the Bush Administration that are in fact true.

Trying to tie the two together to "shame" the Democrats into not denouncing it is a lie and dirty politics at its most glaring.

Problem is, it exposes the double-standards of right wing rhetoric better than a liberal argument ever could!

The Republicans know to stand together. I wish the Democrats would learn --"united we stand, divided we fall". The 22 Democratic Senators who voted with the Republicans on this should be kicked out in the next primary in their state, I know I will vote for any Democrat who runs against Dianne Feinstein!
To answer your question, they are not going to vote against the interests of their party, so swiftboating is fine and their disgusting action against Max McClellan is for the party.

Because this cheap shot by "shmoozeon.org" is directed towards a commanding General during a time of war. If the politicians want to "attack" each other, let them go for it,just leave the Woman&Men, who are fighting and dying out of their political B.S. Also, by Clinton making her comment, about the General, she is actually calling the troops that serve under him TRAITORS, forgetting (if she even knew in the 1st place) that Real leaders of our troops, like this Fine General and the troops under him, are the reason she is not spouting off in Japanese,or German. NUFF SAID!!

Truth is subjective, as in the classic saying "This is my truth, tell me yours".
