My friend got busted with 8 or 9 full grown plants that were ready to be harvested and had approx. 50 other plants from seedlings up to about a foot tall.
What is the best and worst case scenario? He was told he may get it reduced to a misdemeanor, 5 years probation and a fine of maybe 20 grand, and probably no jail time, does this sound possible? This is his first offense of any kind.
Thanks!

Thank you for your kind words sandmanamerica, and to you Gerald, I am not so narrow minded that I choose my friends based on what they smoke, and even though I don't personally smoke, I don't think smoking pot or growing it should be considered a crime. But thank you for your 2 cents.

i'm not familiar with missouri law, but i'm guessing he could be looking at some serious time. damn shame though, seeing how it should be legal. i can't think of much that's more dispicable or disturbing than people being incarcerated by the government for reasons that just aren't good enough. i wish your friend the best.

He is going to jail and you need to find friends who are not going to jail. That lead crime free lives. Lucky you were not their cause you would be in jail also...
