Light brown spotting isn't usually anything to worry about. Brown means it's old blood. Pink spotting is normal during pregnancy. Bright red blood means it's fresh, and should be a cause for concern.

Probably not. Light brown discharge for a couple of days probably happens in 25% of pregnancies, so quite common. Could be old implantation bleeding which has since turned brown.

However, if you are cramping badly, or see bright red bleeding, best to go see a doctor right away. Unfortunately, there isn't much for anyone to do other than wait.

since you're only 3 weeks preggo then it is a high chance it is just implantation bleeding. i spotted a lot up until i was 3 months preggy and my son is a very healthy 5 1/2 month old. if you were have a MC then you would most likely be bleeding heavily and cramping badly

Hi,

Unlikely. Don't be scared. Even some irritation in newly forming placenta might cause this. Check with your gynec. You can visit http://www.myhealthinfo.info for some very useful info on pregnancy. Good luck to be a sweet and proud mother soon!

But go to a Doctor just to be sure!
