More blacks are murdered or assaulted in these cities than the entire population of Jena each year. Of course the crimes are perpetrated by other blacks. Nevertheless, the statistics are alarming. It seems that their effort and attention is misplaced. Do you think the demonstrators will march where there is a genuine documented problem? If not, why?

Sadly, it is not likely that demonstrators will march where it really counts. That would not cause the media hype that Jena 6 has caused that allows these demonstrators to attempt to further their own cause. Sadly, it is this "furthering of their cause" which makes things worse instead of better.

***I don't care whether you put this question in the wrong categroy or not. I think you are brilliant (not to mention really hot!)

Eventhough you make a slight pun in your question, I have to agree with the truthful part of it. I think we should all march (by all I mean every race) for the end of violent crimes throughout the nation and the world. Not just for the media's hot picks.

I have no opinions on this issue. But I must say, "nooses" is both an eerily funny, and extremely creepy word, because it's such a scary object with such a funny name.

Black folks have a lot to think about..... victimizing each other....victimization from the "white" population. Blacks are America's scapegoat... wonder what would happen to America if we were to really leave... who else could you crackers kick while someone is down????
