when I was in Guys and St Thomas' Hospital's Lane-Fox unit they had a cinema and the patients both mobile and in beds and chairs were able to go with their carer free so son took me in my wheelchair sounds good except it was that film 'Black Diamond'and within five minutes thoroughly sickened and upset (both of us - he's a big strong man and I have a reasonably strong stomach) just had to leave (I cried once safely back on the ward - over the fact that the things they were depicting so realistically had and were still happening all over the world). For fun Pirates of the Carribean 1 2 and 3 but the more I think the more films I think of and the more I seem to like (not the old cowboy and indian westerns tho'.) and the more stars pop into mind so lets just say that the ones mentioned here may be the best at present except that the colour purple made me sad and angry all at the same time and whoopie goldberg was top notch then as she is now in any roll she plays. I must just mention that Tom hanks in big was great and his other roles all worth watching so opted to watch the Green Mile although having read the book thought it would be very hard for the film to measure up to - I was wrong - brilliant heartbreaking and scarey with just little poignant touches of humour and sweetness. A very grown up and intelligently made spellbinding film. See what I mean - for gosh sakes Dot be quiet!

**I cried the most in "Lorenzo's Oil", the child actor was so convincing in his role as a child afflicted with a rare disease.

**I laughed the most in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" --- Steve Martin and Michael Caine were so hilarious in this classic film..

**Hmmm, I was not really angry but probably very frustrated when I watched "Solaris" 'cause I had such high hopes from this film directed by Steven Soderbergh and featured George Clooney...I guess I became angry at myself for choosing this film while on a three-hour flight!!!

The film that made me cry - Green Mile (upset, did not cry)
The film that made me angry - Highlander 2 becasue it was so **** it killed the first Highlander film which was a great movie
The film that made me laugh - Dirty Sanchez: The Movie (so gross, yet so funny)
Hope this helped.
