I have Kia Sportage 1998 4cl.
Need to change them by myself!!

Get the maintenance book for the vehicle and follow the directions. The book should run 15 to 20 dollars and the plugs might cost all of $25 for the set. Remember to let the engine cool first, and to pull the wires off by the connector cover and not by pulling the wire. If you pull the wire it may or may not break and if it does the harness is expensive!!

Should be right on the top of the engine. Look for the spark plug wires and trace those. You might want to replace those as well. Over time they just wear out due to heat and use.
Get the right plugs, do not over tighten.

The plugs are located on the top of the head and to get to them you need to remove the air intake to the throttle body, There is a black cover plate about 4 inches wide held down by I believe 6 bolts, remove the cover and there you will find the coils.Each coil is helld in place by 2 bolts.

The spark plugs will be four sockets exposed on your engine. They are usually plugged with black plastic covers. the covers come off and you will see the plugs. you need a socket wrench and a magnet preferably to get the plugs out.

Look for the spark plug wires. They're under those.

If you can not find them, do not do it. That tells me that you will screw it up and will cost you more to fix your mistake. Take it to a mechanic. Another question, why?
