I can buy a house in december. but should i wait for my children to finish school year (they in Gr 5, Gr2 and Jk) We have already change 3 schools because of our circumstances and it effacted there school performance. OR should i buy now because housing is getting more and more expensive day by day I would not find the house i want after 9 or 10 months with the money i saved.

Housing is getting more and more expensive? Where do you live?
The housing market is declining. People are losing their homes because they got in over thier heads and they are selling at a loss just to get out.
Housing it NOT getting more expensive.
I would wait until the spring/summer. I assume that you have a down payment and your closing costs saved up?

Buying a home can be the best moment in your life. The decision should be one that works best for the whole family. Moving can be difficult on children especially considering they have already changed schools. Prices may very well drop and you certainly don't want to buy when prices are climbing. If the timing is right than the opportunity will certainly present itself. Many homeowners are losing their homes now due to an ill thought out plan and it's unfortunate to see anyone buy just to buy. You should always have everything planned out ahead of time and consider all angles

just bought my first house and my kids are teenagers. Let me tell you houses are not cheap as you know and the mortgage payment will kill you . We both work full time jobs and are doing OK for now but you gotta start watching your expenses and know when to cut down on certain things. Take your time look around buying a house is not something you want to rush into. Good Luck

I understand that your kids comfort should take precedence. But speaking from the position of a Realtor it is smarter to buy during off seasons. Especially winter because there arent many buyers during those season, everybody is usually waiting around until spring or fall. So if you looking to get a great deal winter is the time.

Mu dear you should buya house right now, or maybe by december the laters, when people are buying christmas presents instead of houses, they are people that get divorced, transfer to another city and they have to sell, so
this is when you buy your house, and now that houses are slow is when you definithly need to buy your house, dont wait or you will have to pay much more.........
