The song is about a girl who reminisces about a relationship that was going so sweetly, as her boyfriend promised her forever, but something happens, either something tragic or he left her, whatever, and now the girl thinks about what was, and what might have been had it not been for what happened, as she tries to figure out what exactly happened, because whatever it was, she didn't see it coming.

It's about a girl and a guy in love but the guy dies of a drug overdose.
Watch the video once more and look closely in one scene he's shooting heroine in his arm.
