The sex of a driver is irrelevant - what matters is whether or not they are concentrating on their driving.
I've seen women putting on lipstick, men reading maps and dozens of people using mobile phones while travelling in excess of 70mph.
Too many of us think passing a driving test means we are good drivers - in reality it takes years of practice and constant effort just to achieve adequacy.

Everything i say here is general THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS so sorry ladies or gents if i offend.
woman are better at some aspects of driving and men are at others. the better driver depends on how you percieve a good driver.
With men its more of a competition and with woman its more of a independance and convienience.
so if u percieve a good driver as someone who is courteous , observant and careful then i would say women are better
if u percieve a good driver as someone who is fast, precise and in tune with the car then i guess a man is better.
i say again its a generalisation i dont mean to be sexist or derogitory to men or woman this is just the way i see it

This is a stereotype and not really true. All men and women have been known to be bad drivers at one point or other, I guess in depends in their present state of mind .... or the state of the vehicle!

Depends how fast - within limits I believe women are more careful going forward but usually more dangerous in reverse.
With regard to control at higher speeds I think men take more chances and overall can get from A to B quicker.

A question with no answer.There are different drivers ,attitudes techniques,and also many differing vehicles.To judge this question i would have to be judging drivers who were fully experienced in driving all types of vehicles.THEIR ARE VERY FEW PEOPLE WITH THESE QUALLIFICATIONS.They used to say men were more aggressive,but thats not true anymore.

Without a doubt woman are the best drivers, take it from one who has been a driving instructor for over 20 years, most of my pupils are girls, 36 out of 38 pupils, girls and woman want to learn to drive but the blokes think they can drive without turning a wheel.

According to some insurers we women get into more minor accidents if men get into more serious accidents than we do. So some people might argue that we have more if others (Me and most women i know) Object that! We're not as bad as men. At least we don't get into serious damage!

Men obviously: I once saw a woman steer her car with her knee going round a bend whilst looking into the mirror brushing her hair and to make matters worse she had a child in the front seat.

right now id say neither ,i have seen as many good women drivers as men,the staistics say women are better driver because they keep their mind on driving more,except for the ones who are putting on make up while driveing,but the actual figures say women are,good luck.
