It seems to me that they are still favoring Boston and Yankees in the news! Ok i get the fact that they have been good for a long time and all but give some credit to a team that is fighting for the AL title! I hope we go all the way and every one will say where did they come from and we'll just smile and say we have been here the whole time you just didnt care! I feel bad for who we have to face in the Playoffs! GO TRIBE!!!!! you deserve this!

That's why karma says the Indians will win the pennant this year and then the World Series. Wait for the very end and then watch ESPN. They might not eat crow, but they sure will give credit!!!!

The sports media will always focus to the high profile teams, and when you have the Yanks and Sox involved in a close race, the media will always focus it's attention there. You're right, it's unfair to the other division frontrunners - Indians at this moment have the best record in all of baseball - but it is what it is. At least you only have one team in your market. I live in So. Cal and while I was watching the morning news yesterday, the lead story wasn't that the Angels were a game away from thier third division title in four years, but rather how the Dodgers ended up losing again.
Good luck in October, you're a legitimate contender for the title.

Because of the "money" markets. That is why Boston and NY get so much exposure. And lets face it, it really isnt a race in the central since we swept the Tigers earlier this week. Boston looks like they are going to blow it. That to me even as an Indians fan is pretty interesting. Overall I agree with you about the credit not being there, but winning is all I care about.

The only thing I see from Red Sox and Yankees fans is them spewing their venom as they trash-talk the other team.

As a Yankee fan, I give them credit for winning their division & making play-offs & having good teams, but the truth is, the Indians can win division but when it come to play-offs, they lose but I do wish them good luck in play-offs

i give them credit! they have the best record in the american league and in the mlb
they will go to the playoffs and i think to the world series.
i do agree that they overadvertise boston and new york but thats only because of the rivalry between them.

i'll give them credit....it didnt make me feel good when i thought my jays had to face the indians...cuz atleast against the yankees and sox, the jays like to put up a fight and spoil things but it doesnt work against cleveland. Great performance by them.

Cuz even though they're having a good year, they don't have much of a chance in the playoffs. Boston, NY and LA would probably sweep them.
