After studying history, I've come to the conclusion that government and media have always been biased and corrupt. They are almost always on the side of the wealthy establishment. Just 50 years ago, people understood that you could not trust what was said in the media and what was reported by the government. The bias was understood by everyone.

My concern is that people believe today still believe in WMDs, that a handful of muslims brought down the NYC towers, and that JFK was assassinated by Lee Oswald (a CIA man).

Why are people so gullible? Is it the lack of education in history? Is it the effectiveness of today's slick propaganda?

The media makes money by polarizing people. If people are happy, then the media won't make money. And you made a good point, in our country, the government is strongly influenced by the wealthy.

The masses don't care for the most part. It's more than likely eaiser to be gullible.
