I have had this cold for about a week now its much better but i have been having a sore feeling in my tummy & today i felt so weak that i could hardly walk without falling over.
Some energy drink helped me to stop feeling so weak but i feel really tired and run down. I do have sleeping problems i dont sleep very well if i went to bed at 9 i will be lucky if i sleep untill 2 - 3am and when its time to wake up i fall back asleep again. I also have depression not on any meds not sure if that has anything to do with it.
I would be gr8full if you guys could give me some feedback.

I have not got much exersize this week since i have had my cold.
I have been coughing alot for 4 days now and i eat well 3 meals a day. I have ginger tea i forgot about that i use that for if my tummys not right but i totaly forgot about it.
I do no usualy take energy drinks but i felt really weak.

Its hard to try and make a balane between rest & exersize i am not very fit and 1 week without much exersize has given me leg cramp/pains so i have been trying to ride my bike up and down the street a coulpe of times every day.
Maybe this isnt helping but on the other hand it helps my leg cramp.

Hi- Sorry you are not feeling up to par- When you had ur cold, did you cough alot? I ask this question, as this may contribute to ur abdominal pain- from the coughing. Energy drinks may not be the best way to go following an illness. You DO need to stay hydrated, and drinking LOTS of fluids will help with this "getting better" process. You need to rest, take extra naps when able. Being ill can keep one feeling as weak as a kitten. I would suggest you talk to ur Physician re: ur depression. There are lots of interventions when it comes to this. I take Paxil, for example, for chronic depression, and this helps "lift the cloud", in a matter of speaking. It takes 2-4 weeks to get the anti-depressant into ur system, but, if you are thinking in this direction, I would highly suggest you go see ur Physician. In re: to ur abdominal pain, if this continues, this is another good reason to go to a Doctor. Could be something is going on....Just a thought. I have a few sites to hopefully help you out with ur question. Hope you get to feeling better soon. Take care!

Tummy could be sore from coughing if you had a cold. You may be tired and run down from fighting off a virus but it could also be the depression which is usually the cause of waking during the night. Try eating good healthy comfort foods for a day or two and not overexerting. if you are still not feeling back to normal, it's time to see the doctor.

See your doctor if you feel worse, definitely.

What have you been eating while sick? Soup is good, of course, but don't miss out on your basics; multivitamins, gatorade to keep your energy up and body hydrated (it's really good for you while sick, i always buy some when I am)
iron, etc, got to keep up on your supplements while sick. Your tummy feeling ill could be the result of a week-long cold, which is not uncommon, or maybe as you're getting better you need to build up on more solids, dairy, meat (if you're not vege) fiber, etc

If you take herbs I highly reccomend ginger root for your stomach, eleuthero root & american ginseng & green tea extract for your immune system. If you have some yogurt in the fridge, it may help your stomach as well.

I also highly reccomend reading up on melatonin, as it's an important hormone that can become easily unbalanced, causing depression and insomnia.
Also to get more sleep, take some dramamine or night-time nyquil, or a more natural method is valerian root and passion flower 15minutes before bed with water.
Hope you feel better!

Go see your medical doctor.
It could be an underlying problem other than just a regular flu. You definitely need to go to the doctor though.
