Actually, yield based instruments, from high yield bonds to MLPs (but not REITs because of the real estate issues and soon-to-be declining rents), are a good buy right now.
Check out BPL, PAA and EPD.
Um, univee 3% in this day and age is as close to a landslide as you're going to get.
