We had a 2 day cold snap here where the temperature dropped into the high 40's at nite and around 63 degrees in the daytime. I about froze to death. It made me feel like an ice pop and I know the warm weather is going away within the next few weeks here in Illinois.
Any suggestions to make fall/winter better?

Oh, what differences we have, I live in Mississippi and the heat is so oppressive that it makes you ill. I know that the extreme cold of Illinois can be dreadful, but at least you can bundle up next to a fire. I visited Chicago several times on business and found it way too cold to go outside, however, having just come back from Nashville, in August, I found it way too hot to go out!
Funny isn't I.
Anyway, I wish you the best. You will freeze and we will swelter. Will think of you, hope that you enjoy a hot chocolate and the thought of Christmas music and a nice warm fireplace.

Each day in winter is one day closer to spring. Winter will seem to drag on forever if you aren't enjoying yourself. Pick up a hobby you can do inside during the cold months and spend time with your friends and family and it will be spring before you know it!

I'm from Long Island,NY and I hate fall & winter because it's cold and you have to rake leaves and shovel snow. I just wear shorts everyday during the fall and the winter to make it feel summery.

hey I'm from Chicago, i hate winter but i love to wear cute boots, turtleneck sweaters,different color pea coats, and matching scarves set. lol i see it as a opportunity to switch up my wardrobe :P

first of all, i believe that winter is better because you can layer up to get warm, but you cant exactly go nude around in simmer to get cool.
