Don't wait until Monday! Go to your hospital ER or an immediate care clinc now! UTI's can spread up into your kidneys and cause pyelonephritis and from there into your blood. Get treatment now!

I can sure sympathize with you. I have had this problem for years and was always having to go to the doctor to get a prescription.
One thing you can do today is get you some cranberry pills and drink lots of water. You can get them at Walmart or any health food store. If your UTI is not real bad yet, it might even help keep it from getting worse.
This may not help you this time around but I finally found a natural solution for this problem that works really quick if you catch it early. (Believe me, I know the symptoms by now and know when one is coming on.) Check out the website source below for more info. Click on Product Info on the right hand side of the page under Articles and then scroll down to Clear Tract for Urinary Tract Infections. You might even be able to find this at a local health food store.
Hope this helps!

Do not take antibiotics if it is not a full course, this will cause your body to develop a resistance to it.
You need to see your doctor, but in the mean time, use 1/2 tablespoon of baking soda disolved in 6 to 8 oz. of water. Drink this a few times a day. This will help raise the PH of your urine and make it a hostile environment for bacteria.

a UTI can be dangerous and spread to your Kidney's. This is more painful and more damaging then the start of a UTI. You need to drink a lot of Cranberry juice and water- and go to the ER to get treated - you need to be put on antibiodics immediately. take care of yourself and good luck!

If it is a UTI then you need antibiotics -- I'd say go to the ER, but you might be waiting a while because it's not an emergency. Nothing over the counter to take - sorry.

yeahh I use to get UTI's all the time!! But then, I drank a lot of water, and cranberry juice......!! but, you shouldn't wait, go to the ER as soon as possible, because if you don't, then it can go to the kidneys, and cause serious damage! I mean whenever I get an UTI, my mom takes me to the ER... so don't wait, and GO!

Take Advil or something for the pain and then drink lots of water or the old standby cranberry juice.
I would say it would be OK to take the med as long as it wasn't out dated. I have done this before.
