I need to know the dimensions for the house, as well as how big the hole needs to be for the ducks to get in. Thanks!

As someone else implied, I am not "imprisoning" ducks. I am building a house to put in the middle of a pond for them to have some shelter. Sorry if I offended anyone by making you think I was going to keep ducks as prisoners.

I was actually looking for the same. I haven't yet found a blueprint, but thought maybe this website would give you some ideas. This is located in England. I haven't even been able to locate them in the U.S. at this point in my search. Good luck!

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.

With no offense meant Mallards are strictly "House" birds; and certainly aren't strictly meant to be KEPT.

If you have rescued ducks that no longer fly; I assume you have valid cause for that effort?

With respect; SIZE pretty much might relate to the number of Ducks you wish to imprison. The Hole might not need be any larger than the size of a large watermelon.

I have to ask...To what purpose are you asking?

They aren't designed to be PETS; though certainly they do accustom themselves to humans.

And as for this whole prisoner discussion; I suggest you name them "Smokey", "Gumbo", and "Jambalaya", because they are so good to eat.
