Ok scott, I forgot about the people that need it spelled out for them:
Which Country's leader do you consider the best in today's society.
Now nit-pick that.

Just my opinion but I dont think Bush has done that bad of a job. Hes done some things that make me scratch my head but I think he has Americas best interests in mind.

I am appalled at his stance on trade and immigration. Im more than a little concerned at a weak dollar.

I dont know who the best leader is but I also dont know any leader that has had to face the struggles that Bush has had. 9/11 took place in the infancy of his presidency and I dont think he gets a fair shake,

I think that - as disturbing as this is going to sound - Governor Schwarzenegger keeps doing some stuff that is not bad. That's not to say he's doing a good job necesarily, it's just to say that ALOT of the other world leaders are doing a REALLY crappy job.

Sometimes, you don't need to win by being the best but just by not failing.

I'm not particularly up to speed on the range and policies of all world leaders, but I will say this, Anyone who can contain their country's debt load, keep their people from un-necessary war, and otherwise be a humble commander of the ship of state is a good candidate.

Chancellor Merkel , King Gustav, Emperor Akihito, all might easily qualify.

In my opinion Angela Merckel. Apart from supporting Bush on Iraq she hasn't made any big mistakes and she has maintained a high approval rating. She has also showed a lot of initiative in attempts to reduce global warming and improve her countries health care system. I might include that most of the western leaders made the wrong decision in backing Bush so I don't think she should be judged to harshly for that.
