My cars automatic gearbox is not working. Anyone who knows where I can get reconditioned or repaire my car in east london?

All may not be lost. Have you been leaking transmission fluid? Or, rather, your car? Top it off. Be sure to look in the owner's manual to know which type of transmission fluid to buy.
It's possible that a cable has binded and not allowing to shift the transmission in gear. There could be a doz things wrong with it.
Check with a mechanic in your area.
If it's out of fluid or the dip stick smells burnt, you will need assistance either in new seals or new or rebuilt transmission. If it's not gone, it's possible to get enough transmission fluid in it to get it to a shop. Or if you call a large enough shop, they will tow it for you.

if you know anyone who is a member of the RAC. where the person is the member not the car. get them to say they are in the car. RAC(wonderful chaps) will come to your rescue. and check it is not a small electrical fault or short of oil with an automatic cut out. if he cant fix it you have not lost anything. just back to square one. good luck.

Check the transmission fluid level, may just be low.
