It had a dragons in some mystical land, near the end a friendly wolf broke its leg and the beginning scenes involves a book shop. Me and friends were talking films the other day we all remembered vague details but can't remember the film at all, any ideas?

um.. for whoever answered (and whoever thumbed up the answer) Neverending story.. that was NOT a cartoon.. Nor did a wolf break it's leg.. I barely remember Puff the magic dragon, and at the very least it IS a cartoon.. so it's at least a valid answer..I don't think there was a wolf or book shop in it..b ut, it's possible.
Flight of dragons, begins in a little book/game shop where the main character was trying to sell his new game idea.. there is a wolf who DOES break a leg during a battle scene (it is fixed at the end), and it is FILLEd with dragons.. and .. it's a cartoon...
