The main reason is there is more land in the northern hemisphere than in the southern hemisphere.

Land warms more quickly than water due to the very high specific heat of water. Thus the land areas always are warmer than water with the same amount of energy.

So the hemisphere with the most land will be warmer because the oceans will be cooler with the same amount of solar energy received.

Because Southern Hemisphere contains sea area more than the land area.Sea area reflect some of the solar radiation.Furthur the heat absorbed by the sea surface is distributed to a considerable depth below(unlike the land which is heated only for a few feet below the surface)with the result that the sea surface temperature and heat remains within a limit.
Further the widely prevalent warm ocean currents in the Southern Hemisphere mixes the water to a greater depth resulting in an uniform temperature everywhere which is comparatively less than that of the Northern Hemisphere.
It may be noted, that ,for the same reason winter in the Southern Hemisphere wil be comparatively warmer than Northern Hemisphere.

Water has such a high capacity for heat that the water takes a lot longer to warm up. Most of the land in the world is in the northern hemisphere thus causing it to warm a lot more that the southern hemisphere

The above answers are the main cause, however there is a smaller secondary cause. The earth's orbit is not a perfect circle around the sun. During summer in the southern hemisphere the earth is further away from the sun than it is for the northern hemisphere's summer.

the super majority of the Earth's land plenty exist over the northern hemisphere. Land factors tend to warmth and funky quicker than water, that's why the as quickly as a year temperature variations around the northern hemisphere are extra beneficial than the as quickly as a year variations over the southern hemisphere. i don't have the top probabilities of land and water for each hemisphere offhand. you would be able to desire to in all probability stumble on those figures through an common seek.
