Terrorists may bag a few of us, now and then, and if they ever get their hands on a nuke, we'll be in a real crisis.
But Leftists Congresspersons (i.e., Feinstein, Lautenberg, Schumer), the former two of which try to sneak in freedom-limiting legislation when bills or budget legislation is passed, are bigger threats.
Why? Because they infringe upon the freedoms of all of us. Forever. Or until their garbage laws are overturned or ruled unconstitutional.
While we have enemies abroad, I cannot help but feel we have enemies to freedom back home.
When are we going to realize this and vote these clowns out of office (followed with a congressional censure)?

Some examples (mostly congresspersons burying gun control into non-related legislation and sneaking it by):

True, there are some Republicans who pull this crap too, and I'll have to vote more selectively in the coming election.
Bottom line: Any time a legislator tries to bury something in a bill, it's robbing all of us in a sense. If a Congressperson believes strongly enough in such legislation, then they need to stand in the center of the floor and bring to open debate, and not try to weasel things in to our later mutual detriment.

Any Congresspeople who bypass constitutional rights with their schemes are a threat to the foundation of this country, in one form or another. Such people are bigger threats than terrorists, because terrorism is more of a threat to our minds than our safety. We're victims of terror on a daily basis from watching the news.
But it's funny you would pick on leftists. Remember the Military Commissions Act? Do you know what habeas corpus is... I mean was? That wasn't just attempted to be snuck in. It was signed and applauded. 98% of Republican senators and 95% of Republican representatives said aye to eliminating habeas corpus. Democrat support was 27% and 16%, respectively. Go ahead, do your homework on it. Bush signed it into law.
So the Democrats are infringing on our freedoms and the Republicans are "just keeping us safe?" Please tell me that's not what you really think.
How do we vote them out? For one thing, we get people to stop blindly voting for their party. Since you're so eager to pick on the left, I wonder if YOU would vote against the Republican Party candidates who advocate signing away our rights in the faux name of security.

I don't know about a bigger threat, but they're right up there. I mean, it's not like Liberals go around advocating or performing murder. They would neeeever do thaaat! Oh, abortion you say? Why, that's only giving women the "choice" to discard from their bodies that which they don't want or care about. No different than using the bathroom to them. They're all about some freedom now. Why freedom of choice is the lefties most sacred cow. Hmmm.... I see your point. But as far as getting them out of office, I'm afraid the country has too many morally bankrupt citizens. So the leftists will continue to be a dark force in this country.

Gee you have a nerve talking about threats to freedom considering the Republicans voted to censure an ad they didn't like. Who does that? Oh that's right...dictators who can't handle dissent...people who want to allow 'freedom' of speech as long as you agree with them.
Why? Because they fear true freedom.
They want to listen in on your phone, computer, library books.
No warrants, and screw the Fourth Amendment.
When are these clowns going to understand the Constitution is not to be abridged.
Vote them out of office, they are un-American.
Give the country back to the people who love it.

The biggest threat in America isn't terrorists, liberals or conservatives. It's idiots like you who insist on attaching value to stupid labels and hinder productive discourse by perpetuating stereotypes and buying into the idea that one side or the other is completely untrustworthy and the "problem" with the country. There are crooked, immoral politicians in both parties who have strayed from the basic foundations of the their parties ideologies and have forgotten that they are in office to serve the American public and not to line their own pockets and stroke their own egos.

Exactly what infringements have leftists tried to sneak in? You mean like warrantless wiretaps, umbrella monitoring of computer use, library use, and telephones, elimination of habeas corpus? If things continue in the way they are, we won't have any rights to be infringed!

I will not try to answer your silly slop as it does not deserve the time. The only thing that should be said is go take your medication and find some place quiet where you can lie down. When you get up don't forget to take your bike out of the driveway where you left it to change your wet pants.

Don't forget the most reprehensible thing that they do-they give the impression that the war is lost. This is a slap in the face to the brave men and women serving in Afganistan and Iraq, and weakens the American position abroad.
