In the US, we're TV watchers too. We surf online, too. A lot of Americans enjoy barbecuing in their back yard, especially in the summer months. Some of us live in rural areas with lots of countryside. We take long walks, visit the neighbors and drink coffee) ride our ATVs or bicycles, go fishing, or just enjoying the outdoors in general. I'm a flower gardener myself.

We usually go shopping or window shopping. During summer we drive to different places or go out of the country. We also love watching tv but depending on the person, we watch different programs. Some like sports, some series, while some like documentaries. A lot of people are into sports like baseball, soccer, basketball, etc. Either they play them or watch them. Many people also go camping and do gardening.

Baseball and hooking up with girls. We do not consider watching TV and the supermarket to be an activity.

I personally love to shop for clothes and shoes, garden, and read. I love to learn about faraway places and speak to others of different cultures. Sporting activities I enjoy are golf, softball, and playing basketball with my son -- h-o-r-s-e, to be exact. I also like to play card games, esp. poker (but not for money).

In the US people like to go to restaurants to eat...that is why there is so much fatness...avoiding exercise is popular too...watching movies, sports games, shopping...anything to avoid participating in exercise...
