Well most people answering Im assuming are city people, besides the gold panning guy but I like it. You can gamble and relax but its on the river so you can rent jet skis at reasonable prices and if y ou have never been on one then boy are you in for some fun! Laughlin isnt like vegas where its all city life and people walking around showing how much money they have. its more of a getaway outdoorsie type place. Its cheap too. Last time I checked rates were like 32 a night. You cant get that at all in Vegas!

You can shop at the mall, there is also the Colorado River where you can rent ski-do's and boats and have water fun. You are also across the river from Bullhead City which is a small town but does offer more than just gambling. Also in Laughlin, inside the casinos, there are theaters, bowling alleys and Don Laughlin's casino has a pretty neat car museum. There is more to do than gambling, but as everyone else has said...NOT A LOT.

Honestly nothing. The town of Laughlin, Nevada was designed for the specific purpose of Gambling. Across the river in Bullhead City,AZ however the town functios more lile a traditional community. Take a transit shuttle over and have a look. Most people who want a city experience just go up to Las Vegas which is only an hour & a half away.

The scenery in the area is magnificent. Boating and fishing on the Colorado River is the main attraction. It is an easy drive to Lake Havasu and the London Bridge. You are also close to Boulder dam and the Lake Meade Recreation area. Laughlin is about 100 miles from Las Vegas - the area is all desert and extremely hot in the Summer. There are some nice mountain parks just outside of Kingman (which is a 30 min. drive from Laughlin). There are plenty of hiking trails for the experienced hiker and the area is a bonanza of Indian ruins.

You could take one of the bus tours similar to the ones that start in Las Vegas. But mostly it is casino- oriented activities.

NOTHING.... absolutely NOTHING... Laughlin was founded on gambling and it's the only thing to do there.
