My computer settings.

The conscious and the subconscious are pretty much the same thing and are adjusted pretty much the same way at the same time. You just tend not to recognize the subconscious changing. It is that middle child between thoughts and questions that you tend to ignore because it never speaks up. If you can find a direct way to reset your subconscious without going through you conscious to do so, tell me about it. Hypnotherapists have been trying it for years with little result.

I don't believe you adjust one independently of the other.

Think of the mind like an iceberg...

If you alter the tip (conscious)...
Say...take a big chunk off one side...
The bottom (subconscious) will change to...

The same goes if you were to alter what lies beneath the water.

The goal is to bring the mind to light...
By lightening the density...

An interesting idiom...

When I start thinking about things is when I mess up.
