both. The sun rotates around its own axis. The earth rotates around the sun due to the gravity momentum of the sun as well as around its own axis. If we do not rotate around the sun, we will be pull towards the sun and be burnt to a crisps.

the earth rotates and is in orbit, so it is spinning and moving all at the same time. The sun doesn't rotate, it's a star. If stars rotated, there'd be no such thing as constellations.
