NO ... not easy at all ...
It took my Adult Children (whom I was the SOLE Support of as a Long Term Single Parent ...) to willingly HELP my Ex (an Abusive, violent Sociopath from a Short Disaster of a Marriage) to BURGLARIZE my Home ...
and another YEAR of reflection, police reports, sorrow and transitions ...
TO FINALLY make the DECISION to LET GO of the Past, to SELL my Home (that I EARNED through my Hard Work), to let go of things I accumulated over the past 30+ years ....
To get on the TRANSITION PATH ... and I am there now ... attics are cleaned out, closets are being cleaned out ... donations to various charities have been accomplished, dumpster is loaded, and ...
Garage Sale next week ... then ...
HOPEFULLY ...
The Home will sell in the next couple of months, and I'll be in my NEW country Ranch enjoying the RURAL LIFE and FRESH to start a NEW and MUCH HAPPIER chapter of the Rest of my Life ...
As a Relaxed, self-pampered, and yes, Empty-Nesting Single Retiree who deserves to have PEACE in her life at this stage of her life.

It is never easy to hold me back.
I have to remind myself constantly that if I don't hold back the consequences to others and to my self may not be to my liking.
So as history has a tendency to repeat itself, I have a tendency to play it safe, and i have seen and done something in the past that I do not want to repeat, or should I remind you about the chainsaw acident?

LOVE, it's not easy at times, I have to keep on going no matter what! It doesn't hold me back completely, but at times I feel like I can't keep on, but I have the desire to! Have a great weekend!

It's not easy honey, but in life, as long as we have a strong determination, even our past can never wear us down though.

For me it seem to be pretty easy not to be held back.
The only thing the past is good for is lessons to be learned.
