ah mung - some people with different english accents pronounce it differently - but say it the way YOU think it is best. In proper English, it is uh-mung

I've heard individuals with non-standard dialects pronounce the "g" at the end. (as "we shared a fungus among us") Let me reiterate that this is NOT standard!

The poster who rhymed the word with "hung" is correct.

I might add that once you pronounce it correctly, remember to use it correctly: Use "among" with three or more, and "between" with two.
("A secret just between you and me is that you are the smartest person among my friends.")

It's uh-MUNG,
In some areas, it has a hard 'g' (as in 'anGer').
