I disagree. I cannot find those statistics anywhere.
It depends on where you live.
There is a 20% reduction of deaths from smoke related illnesses and this is largely due to anti smoking initiatives by governments.
It is a public health issue and an attempt to reduce medical health costs.

A. This is a binomial distribution with the parameters, p = 0.0264 and n = 50.
B. The mean of this sampling distribution is np = 50(0.264) = 13.2
The standard deviation is √(np(1-p)) = 3.117
