Music! What effect does it have on you?

Music is "Gods" gift to mankind. It has a very positive effect when our moods are tuned to listen to it. However, it could also go on our nerves when our moods are bad. So the mantra is "Right music at the right time" !!!!

It definitely depends on the music. My son's music makes me jittery inside, and chaotic. I don't like it. It has been shown in studies regarding this, that if one is depressed, and plays that kind of music, then slowly raise the songs to more cheerful songs, then one's depression will be lifted from depressed to more cheerful. Some music makes me cry, some remind me of someone special that I have lost to death, and some are just fun, and I feel like dancing.

Music is something which i never miss each day. I can be seen with headphones on while travelling, relaxing, having meals etc..... Music has become part of my life or should i say i have been addicted to music.

Shake spear in his drama "TWELFTH NIGHT" said, "if music be the food of love , give me the excess of it". He believed, music will enhance the feeling of love. Not only love, Music has the power to console the depressed heart, entertain over worked brain, help to create new ideas. What not entire universe is filled with melody, which cast away all ailments of soul.

Love Music! It takes me away to a different mindset in God when things are tough! Or when I just want to chill out and Jam.
Can't live without it.
Reminds me of the song at church haven't sung it in a while:

Music is part of my life. There always is a song playing in my head. It's like a record that goes in when I'm silent.

Memories... Music is very linked to my memories, because I have a song for each phase of my life. People I met, places I worked, boyfriends, lovers, Brazil, USA... my whole life could be told in music.

Music is Divine.I feel, It is the closest way that one can get connected to God. I think we are blessed to be born as human beings to be able to listen to and enjoy music.
