I know the receptionists do agreat job but when you can`t get to see the doc for a few days ahead and say urgent only today , surely you would not be trying for appointment in first place. Do you have to plan ahead when to be ill, am i just a grumpy middle aged woman? Don`t dare say yes!

Funny you should mention that...I have a bad tooth ache starting on Thursday, and I tried to phone my dentist for an emergency visit...."Is Monday good for you?" I was hoping the word "Emergency" would have some effect on them...but no, I have to wait, in pain for the weekend to pass, before any relief comes my way.... I'm a little grumpy about it as well..

When I did my appointment I wasn't asked. But had I been, that would have made me angry. I don't like having to go see the doctor. When I do. It's because I was unable to fix the problem myself.
