I guess.
I used to go hunting, and I ate the deer that I shot ...
I'm not so into it now though.
I'd rather just pretend everything comes in little styrofoam packages ....
:O)

hehe ... the PETA people are gonna slap me with some major thumbs down for this one, I can feel it coming ...

how about a chicken?

i watched many times when I was small in the market. First they cut the head off. Then they put it in hot water and pluck the feathers out.

I'd eat it :) lol. as long as the animals being slaughtered humanly. wit minimal pain. We all like meat.

Yes Kermit, frogs too. I am a hunter and have eaten what I have killed. Animals should always be managed in an ethical and humane way but consuming animal protein is perfectly OK. If it were not OK to eat the body would reject it.

Is it any less ethical to eat meat from a supermarket? I regularly have meat from our family farm, and I know for a fact that it has had a good life, been well cared for, and was killed humanely.
The same cannot be said for most meat products in shops. Have a think about that next time you feel like a burger :)

probably not........for a while anyways. when I was younger I went to get a job in the packing part of Tyson's and they wanted me to do the slaughtering part and just seeing those poor chickens made me sick I didn't even last one day and I didn't eat any meat for about a year but now I love chicken again.

If I generally ate meat I would eat it. If I wasn't the one who would eat it, it would be someone else. It's pointless not to eat an edible animal just because you saw it beeing slaughtered. Now I rarely eat meat because I'm disgusted by its taste

We raised a few hogs when I was growing up, made our own sausage, smoked our own bacon, etc I ate that ok and had watched the entire slaughter process. u get used 2 it.
There is a little sadness to it though and I don't blame anyone if they don't want to do it.

I don't mind. I would because the meat would be fresh and I would know how they treated it (if it was dirty before etc)
Besides, animals eat animals to survive, we need proteins and iron. And meat has them in the best quality. It is tasty too!

Maybe not after I watched it being... slaughtered... but I probably wouldn't become a vegetarian after that....
