Well, yes, the conversation could have taken a more low key tone and with better language. If this is the way your relationship just is, my advice is to end it, and cut your losses short. Obviously there are some deception and manners issues going wrong in this case.

Oh, I am sure that treating people as they treat you will make the situation better - NOT! Treat people as you would have them treat you, no matter how they treat you. Respect everyone no matter what they do to you, and eventually their behavior may change, and at the very least you will not have added insult to injury and compound the problem. At some point someone has to act as the adult, and stop playing childish games, if you ever want to see an end to a conflict.

Um, couldn't you just ask her around nicely and have a calm talk with her in private. Why do people have to play games? Sounds like you hate her, so why are you together (if you actually are together)?
I think you both need therapy.

You know the answer to that. A better question is "did you express to her directly with words some of the 'unfavorable things' she has done to you before reacting in such an aggressive manner?"
Also good questions to ask yourself ", What is making me so angry? Does it go beyond this one woman?"

You are in a mutually destructive relationship. Get out before its too late or you will also destroy any children you may have.

Sounds like you deserve one another. You're both without a clue about human decency.

Depends on what she did. If you were over reacting, then you were disrespecting her.

No, it's not disrespectful. It's abuse. There's a difference.
